Welcome!

Well, this is a momentous occasion for me, and a rather large and important day in the history of my life. Today, I:

- was offered a wonderful new job
- opened my long prepared for Etsy store
- posted my first blog post

I feel rather chuffed at myself to be honest!

Fingers crossed I will be starting my new job in a couple of weeks, as a Television Captioner. The hours mean that I'll be able to craft and create may more hours of the day, which lead me to opening my Etsy store today. Finally I feel I will be escaping the drudgery of my current job, and finding that elusive work/life balance.

I gain alot from the simple act of making things, anything really.... Dinner, love, earrings, bread, collage pendants, bobby pins, buttons, brooches, stew. It was this realisation plus an absurdly fervent passion for resin jewellery (and I have NO ideo where that came from) that drove me to craftster.org, which in turn pushed me towards etsy.com and now, my life has changed forever. My pieces range from flirty, to childish, to fun to 80s style-queen. I hope that someone likes them as much as I do...
